Your assignment
- Provide an infrastructure where product generation can work effectively
- Support agile way of work within R&D
- Automate our installation and SW deployment
- Adapt and continuously improve our environment
Requirements
- University or college degree in computer science/engineering, software engineering or comparable qualification
- Working knowledge with
– Linux environment,
– Virtualization (KVM) and container technology (Docker),
– Application Server und Servlet Container (Apache, Tomcat) - Knowledge in the automation of installations (Kickstart), RPM package management, network setups
- Good script programming skills (e.g. Python, Ruby)
- Experiences with automatization of deployment processes, configuration management tools (Nexus, Puppet, Chief, Ansible) and monitoring tools (Nagios, Check_MK) are preferred
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently, analytical and conceptual skills, team player
The following would be a plus
- Certification as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE®) or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA®); or comparable skills
- Ideally experiences with agile development processes (e.g. Scrum, DevOps, Continuous Integration) and tools (Jenkins, Jira)
