They also bring the analytics results to our users in a way that they can turn deep battery knowledge into actionable insights. To strengthen our team, we’re looking for a Product Development Engineer (m/f/d) with a passion for building products that makes complex tech insightful at a glance. You’ll join at an ideal time to make a big impact. You’ll be involved in every step of the development process, collaborating closing with product management and other engineers: researching, sketching solutions, prototyping and testing, delivering products to customers and getting their feedback on what we’ve built.
Your Responsibilities
- You are working with engineers, data scientists and designers to understand how our customers use our software and what they need to succeed
- You are contributing to the product strategy and structuring the long-term roadmap to industrialize our IoT software
- You are working and coordinating along the full product lifecycle: starting by understanding the customers’ problems, sketching solutions, through prototyping and testing to implementation, shipping products and features, to turning our customers’ feedback into new product ideas
- You are the “glue” between our experts of various disciplines to deliver features end-to-end, mastering complexity ranging from data handling over models and algorithms to the user interface
Your Role
- You have 3+ years of hands-on experience in building IoT products with high data rates
- You have an engineering, science or computer science background but are equally curious about user experience and business challenges
- You like to look at the big picture and connecting the dots but also bring the ability to dive deep and get to the bottom of problems
- You love challenges, have experience in analyzing complex problems and are committed to deliver first-class products
- You have worked with agile methods before and are convinced that thinking big and slicing small, shipping and learning early, and iterating quickly in cross-functional teams is both an effective and fun way of working
