Your role and responsibilities within the team

 

  • You create real business value by enhancing our insurance process automation platform in an interdisciplinary team using APIs, Machine Learning and OCR
  • You discuss process solutions with our operations team
  • You are proactive and pay attention to the scalability, performance and availability of our systems
  • You take responsibility to ensure successful results
  • You set up deployment infrastructures, server environments and testing infrastructure and you maintain and improve them
  • You work in Scrum sprints along with developers, scrum masters and product owners
  • You stay on top of current industry trends

Requirements

 

  • You have a BSc/MSc with focus on information systems, computer science, mathematics, or related fields
  • You have experience with either Ruby/Ruby on Rails or some other backend-technology
  • You have deep knowledge in backend infrastructure
  • You already worked on small projects in your field
  • You are self dependent and own your project
  • You are proactive within the team
  • You can work effectively and efficiently under pressure
  • You are self-confident and great at communicating
  • You are proficient in English
  • You have the startup mindset
