Responsibilities
- You establish, configure, test and maintain operating systems and system management tools on automotive embedded hardware
- You assist in the setup and installation of development tools and deployment of application software on embedded IVI systems for demo and testing purposes
- You create prototypes from ground up which consist of multiple network-connected embedded devices running different operating systems
- You ensure that the prototypes are on bleeding edge with the help of up-to-date Dev-Ops technology
- You support other teams with internal trainings
Your Profile
- Expertise in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux-based embedded systems with a proven project track record
- Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix based platforms and Android Systems
- Experience in using script languages (e.g. Python, Bash, Ruby) and setting up software for automation
- Basic knowledge of C++ would be advantageous and of system administration, performance tuning, and system monitoring
- Basic Dev-Ops skills are a plus (e.g. Jenkins, Docker) and knowledge of networking technologies
- Understanding of Linux graphics stack (DRM, Mesa, Wayland, EGL) is a plus
